When it comes to combining good looks, comfort, performance and efficiency, nothing beats a Honda. Honda vehicles are longstanding award-winners. Here are just some of the most recent accolades from respected automotive experts.
Consumer Reports
The venerable independent consumer testing organization, Consumer Reports, named the hybrid Honda Civic its “Best Small Car” to its 2026 Annual 10 Top Picks in New Cars, Trucks and SUVs, The award cited the Civic’s quick and responsive steering, comfortable ride and spacious interior, as well as choice of engines, and low gas consumption (44 mpg overall!). Car and Driver
The Civic – Hybrid, Type R and Si – all made Car and Driver’s 2026 Editors’ Choice: The Best New Cars, Trucks, SUVs, and Minivans. But so did some other popular Honda models, including the Honda CR-V (Compact SUV), Honda Passport (Mid-Size Two-Row SUV), the Honda CR-V Hybrid (Hybrid Compact SUV), Honda Accord (Mid-Size Family Sedan), Honda Accord Hybrid ( Hybrid Mid-Size Family Sedan). U.S. News & World Report
We all know that the price of a new ride has gone up, which makes the 2026 Honda Accord and 2026 Honda Odyssey’s appearance among the U.S. News & World Report’s “Best Cars for the Money” very compelling. The Honda Accord was named the “Best Midsize Car for the Money” and the Honda Odyssey took the prize for “Best Minivan for the Money.” The publication said that, “An ideal choice isn’t just a vehicle that’s enjoyable to own, with all the power, practicality and personality you’re looking for.” What that meant was that the Accord and Odyssey delivered on transaction price plus the cost of keeping them on the road.
GearJunkie
Here in Colorado, having a vehicle that can take on tough terrain is a real asset. Gear Junkie reviewed new vehicles and formulated its 2025 GearJunkie Adventure Vehicle of the Year Awards, including the “Best 2-Row SUV” to the 2026 Honda Passport TrailSport.
